More backlog stuff! This was kind of a spontaneous creation that I made up as I went. Can't say I don't absolutely love where it went, though! It might end up appearing somewhere eventually, though I'm currently not sure where - most probably not the comic, as it doesn't have the same feel to it, though it would do great in a similar imaginative pseudo-mediaeval setting.

Love this kind of primitive machinery. In retrospect, I wish this had been my approach to Lanschilandia's technology instead of rusty-coloured gears in a lame attempt to achieve something "vaguely steampunk", an aesthetic style I have way too little experience with to pull off the kinds of complex designs that make it look good in the right hands and which never truly worked in the comic's art style.
